He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Faye Beldin; and his son James Travis (Jim). He is survived by: his son Steven Lee Gaines (Robin); his grandchildren, Molly, Sarah and Alonzo Trinidad Hernandez (Trini); and his nephew James.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home (1530 N 45th St, Corsicana, TX 75110). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oakwood Cemetery (900 N 19th St, Corsicana, TX 75110).
