He is survived by: his wife Lurene Thomas; his son Lee Thomas (Tara); his granddaughter Jenna Denbow (Hunter); his great grandchildren, Parker and Nixon Denbow; his nephew Kipp Thomas (Genetha Thomas); his great-nephew Freddy Thomas; his great-niece Emily Carroll; his brother Ronnie (Garlene Thomas); and his nieces and nephews, Elice, Sandi, Tammi and Linda Addington.

Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home (1530 N 45th St, Corsicana, TX 75110). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
