He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee and Carmen Weempe; his significant other Martha Weempe; his siblings, Bob Weempe, Frank Weempe, Ray Weempe and Viola Looney; his brother-in-law Ray Kirkland; and his grandson Blake Killingsworth.

He is survived by: his children, William Weempe (Cheryl), Mike Weempe (Tammy) and Debra Killingsworth (Brian); his sisters, Mary Wilson (Bill) and Nora Kirkland; his grandchildren, JT Weempe, Bryce Weempe (Matina), Nicole Burdick (Clifton), David Weempe (Kasey), Cara Floyd (Shelby) and Bret Killingsworth; and his great grandchildren, Connor Weempe, Madisyn Weempe, Rhy Marvel, Sadee Marvel, Liam Burdick, Blair Weempe, Miles Weempe, Quade Floyd, Grayson Weempe and Hank Floyd.
