He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Padgett and Alma Padgett (Gamble); his wife Shirley Kay Padgett; and his great grandchild Kade. He is survived by: his children, Karen Padgett Smith of Mexia, Herman O'Niel "Trey" Padgett, III (Sylvana) of Wortham and Leslie Padgett Burkhart (Ray) of Springtown; his grandchildren, Adam Padgett, Will Padgett (Jessica), Meagan Staton (Cody), Jordan Padgett (Kristen), McKenzie Young, Miranda and Macy Sizemore; his sisters, Suzy Richardson (James Franklin) and Diana McDonald (Bubba); and his stepchildren, Chris Hart (Melody) and Jenna Lynd (Chad). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces & nephews.
