In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Granville leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Granville may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hallie Robinson Summitt and Granville Chester Summitt. He is survived by: his wife Joan; and his children, Lea Ann Locke (Corbet) of Waco, TX, Mark Summitt (Magaly) and Laurel Feinman (Jimmy). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two special cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Methodist Church of Corsicana (320 N 15th St, Corsicana, TX 75110).
