He was predeceased by: his mother Iva Mae Bell; and his former wife Lanell Young. He is survived by: his father Loyd Addison Young; his wife Dorothy Young (Pike); his children, Sandra Scholten (Roy Reyna), Deanna Smith (Gary) and James Young (Rebekah); his stepchildren, Trema Cote and James Green; his grandchildren, Brittnie Sturm (Jimmy), Lari Webb, Adelyn Smith and Clay Green; his great grandchildren, Jackson, Noah and Finley Mae Sturm; and his siblings, Dorothy Jane Raley (James) and Kenneth Young (Terrie).
