He is survived by: his wife Alva Jean Blair Porter; his children, Elmer Bernard Porter, Jr., Bruce Wilburn Porter (Carrie), Sheryl Porter Hicks and William Ralph Porter (Pam); his grandchildren, Nicole Porter, Nicholas Porter, April White (Terrance), Candace Briggs, Sidney Hicks, Jr., Christopher Hicks, Lauren Crawford (Quentin) and Ryan Porter (Caitlin); his great grandchildren, Paul Porter, Neiman Porter, Nixon Porter, Isaiah White, Grace White, Elise White, Cason Briggs, Cameron Porter and Landon Porter; and his nephew Michael Porter Heiskell (Anita). He is also survived by his family, friends.
