He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Abney and Ressie Abney (Ridge); his significant other Angel Ruth; his son Clifford D. Abney; and his siblings, Maxine White (Abney), Grover, Dean, Richard, Ernest, Kenneth, Albert and Danny.
He is survived by: his children, Sherry Andrus (Steve) of Corsicana and Kevin Abney (Stephanie) of Canton; his grandchildren, Hannah Abney and Jackson Abney of Canton; his siblings, Vickie Gibbs (JR), Debbie Hodges (Steve) and Troy Abney (Doris); and his doges, Cooper and Sarge. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in Clifford's memory.
