He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Smith and Bessie Smith; his son Timothy Clayton Smith; and his siblings, Afton Smith and Hazel Smith Parks.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Jamison Smith of Corsicana; his daughter Cindy; his son-in-law Mike McCary of Corsicana; his daughter Sheri; his son-in-law Paul Warner of Thorndale; his grandchildren, Emily, Brad Gentry, Josh, Andie Warner, Drew, Leslie McCary, Tyler, Cari Warner, Jared, Olivia Smith, Braden Smith and Mackenzie Smith; his great grandchildren, Jack, Annabelle, Luke, Henry and Hank; and his nephews, Neal Parks and David Smith.
