Chris Fields Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Chris Fields of Corsicana, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 12, 2025 at the age of 48. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, Don Fields and Carmel Fields; his wife Jennifer; his children, Alexis (Tyler) and Aaron (Jacey); his pet Axle; his brother Roy Staggs; his nephew Jonathan; his sister-in-law Amy Croom (James); and his close friend Creg Gustafson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family.

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home (1530 N 45th St, Corsicana, TX 75110). A rosary was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (3000 West Highway 22, Corsicana, TX 75110). A burial was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery (2200 W 2nd Ave, Corsicana, TX 75110).
