He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Wade Sherrard, Sr. and Mary Ellen Lookingbill; his brother Jacky Wayne Sherrard; and his son James Christopher Sherrard. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Sue Sherrard; and his children, Terri Lynn Sherrard Douglas of Haslet, David Wade Sherrard, Sr. of Corsicana, Scott Allen Sherrard of Red Oak, Robbin Wayne (Kathy Sherrard) of Red Oak, Ronnie Wade (Lisa Sherrard) of Kaufman, Gary Lee (Caron Sherrard) of Kaufman and Bobby Joe (Courtney Sherrard) of Hereford, Texas.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Green Funeral Home (207 S Wood St, Ferris, TX 75125). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the New Beginnings Bible Church (1970 FM 983, Ferris, TX 75125). A burial was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at the Ferris Memorial Park North (901 Ferris Rd, Ferris, TX 75125).
