It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles William Washburn (Corsicana, Texas), who passed away on March 27, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix Washburn and Abigail Washburn; his wives, Alda Ree Washburn and Martha Washburn; his son Chuck Washburn; and his siblings, Donald, Bill, Tonnie Washburn and Louise Prince.
He is survived by: his sons, Malcom Washburn (Carol) and Calvin Washburn; his grandchildren, Kenneth Washburn (Cheryl), Michael Washburn (Harley), Andrew Washburn (Molly) and Rachael Haynie; and his great grandchildren, Parker Washburn, Colter Washburn, Emma Washburn, Caydon Couey, Braydon Washburn and Hannah Haynie.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home. A funeral service was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home Chapel.
