She was predeceased by: her parents, Byrd Purvis and Doris Purvis (Whitehead); her son Brandon Sailer; and her siblings, Johnnie Byrd Thomas, Margaret Nell Lerma, Ada Janette, Shelton Purvis, Milton Purvis, James J. Purvis (Buddy) and Cleo Purvis.
She is survived by: her children, Engia Smelley (Terry Carr) and Lawrence Casey Sailer (LaMarr); her siblings, Mary Alice Fisher (Billy) and John Paul Purvis (Jan); her grandchildren, Brice Sailer (Kristie), Alyssa Smelley, Lindsey Skinner (Mark), Samantha Mark (Jason) and Brandie Johnson (Zack); her great grandchildren, Brylee, Emily, Ethan Sailer, Kason, Raylan, Brinley Harris, River Skinner, Alyssa, Kipp and Rowdy Johnson; her granddaughter Elizabeth Abshier; and her niece Suzanne Fitts.
