He was predeceased by: his parents, John Preston Maxey and Eunice Wilma Maxey (Broaddus); and his siblings, Jerry Maxey and Mary Black. He is survived by: his wife Anita Maxey of Corrigan, Texas; his daughter Angie Putnam (Scott) of Baytown, Texas; and his grandsons, Bryce Putnam of Baytown and Justyn Putnam of North Carolina. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
