It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Maxey (Corrigan, Texas), born in Groveton, Texas, who passed away on March 7, 2018, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Maxey; her sisters, Ruth Fletcher, Martha Huggins and Bill Hutsen; and her granddaughter Tamara Eaton.
She is survived by: her son Bobby Jack of Corrigan; her daughter-in-law Tammy Maxey of Corrigan; her children, Larry Maxey of Corrigan and Linda Eaton of Corrigan; her son-in-law Arthur Eaton of Corrigan; her brother James Best of Plantersville; her sister-in-law Jolene Best of Plantersville; her sister Willie Getschmann of Magnolia; her brothers-in-law, Bobby Getschmann of Magnolia and George Fletcher of Huffman; her grandchildren, Amanda Watson, Jason Watson, Cody Baker, Will Maxey, Whitney Maxey, Blake Vasut, Stacey Platt, Jessie Platt and Ashtin Eaton; and her great grandchildren, Lexi, Lillie Grace, Hadley, Teagan, Addi, Levi, Bradley, Kloey, Debbie Mullikan and Margie Burnett. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
