It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Katherine Shelton of Corrigan, Texas, born in Deridder, Louisiana, who passed away on February 19, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bryon Edward Shelton, Jr. and Charlotte Shelton (Hawkins) of Virginia. She is survived by: her siblings, Ginny Fender of Tyler, Texas, Ned Shelton of Corrigan, Texas and Becky Geeslin (Wayne) of Richwood, Texas; her nephews, Robert Fender (Julie) of Austin, Texas, Kevin Fender (Leslie) of Austin, Texas and Patrick Fender (Celia) of Austin, Texas; her niece Elizabeth Greeslin (Richard Blanco) of Houston, Texas; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Luke Fender, Jadon Fender, Collin Fender, Tom Fender, Eric Venegas, Ashley Himes, Starla Fender and Adelina Ceniceros. She is also survived by numerous cousins, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Special Olympics.
