It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucius McQueen (Corrigan, Texas), born in Camden, Texas, who passed away on February 18, 2019, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John McQueen and Vada McQueen; his wife Bessie Mae McQueen; and his great great grandchild Paisel L. McQueen. He is survived by: his children, Reginald McQueen of Lufkin, Ruth Taylor (Otis) of Houston, Vivian Nell Newton of Oakland, Maggie Copeland of Houston and Nina Kay Chew (Douglass) of Mountain House, California. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren, and host of nieces and nephews, along with other family and close friends.
