He was predeceased by: his son Duane Adams; his brothers, Wade, Buford and Jesse; and his brother-in-law Cloyce Reinhardt.

He is survived by: his sons, Marshall Adams and Lilla Adams; his wife Jean Adams; his sons, David Adams (Kathy) and Bill III; his wife Cathy; his grandchildren, Chantel Wilson, Gabe Wilson, Marshall Adams, Nicole Adams, Aspen Adams, Lauren Adams and Alicia Adams; his great grandchildren, Alex Wilson, Maddie Wilson, Creed Casados and Caleb Casados; his sister-in-law Bennie Reinhardt; his nephews, Therefore and Though; and also, Honorary and Phillips III.

Adams leaves behind for all to cherish his memories, his loving wife, Jean Adams; son David Adams and his wife Kathy, Honorary son W.B. "Bill" Phillips III and his wife Cathy; five grandchildren, Chantel and Gabe Wilson, Marshall and Nicole Adams, Aspen Adams, Lauren Adams and Alicia Adams; four great-grandchildren, Alex Wilson, Maddie Wilson, Creed Casados, and Caleb Casados; a sister-in-law, Bennie Reinhardt, and numerous nieces, and nephews.
