He is survived by: his brother Richard Birch of Jacksonville; his nieces and nephews, Daniel Birch of Brooklyn, NY, Mark Birch of Arlington, Bob Birch of Corrigan, Jenifer Pierson of Woodville and Sharon Birch of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania; his cousins, Ayn Vinson Talley of Houston, Lynn Vinson McMillan of Moscow and Jan Borel of Woodville; and his close friend Ann Barth of Flint. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
