She was predeceased by: her parents, Susie Evelyn Kurtzemann of Corrigan and Harold "Sambo" Pate; and her husband John Bryan of Nacogdoches. She is survived by: her daughters, Deidre (Dwayne Cornelius), Kelly (Gary Strong) and Leslie (Chris Ricks); her grandchildren, Taylor, Brendan Reavis of Lufkin, Ryen, Matt Horsely of Hubert and Bryan Ricks of Lufkin; her great grandchildren, Raegan Brasher, Grayson Brasher and Walker Reavis of Lufkin; her sister Bonnie Lou Grillot of Corrigan; her nephew Cody Grillot of Lufkin; her great-niece Sadie Grillot of Lufkin; her sister-in-law June Rivas of Arlington, Texas; and her nieces and nephews, Tammi Lawson Sanders, Kelly Shadix, Angie Moore, Tammy Maxey, Merry Crane and Edie Reeves. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Carroway Funeral Home (204 E Front St, Corrigan, TX 75939). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Corrigan First Methodist Church (101 N Market St, Corrigan, TX 75939).
