He was predeceased by: his parents, Dionisio Ortiz Lopez and Gregoria Vargas Cruz. He is survived by: his wife Bertha Ortiz (Manriquez) of Corrigan; his children, Bertha I. Ortiz of Corrigan, Alex (Carla Ortiz) of Corrigan, Mario (Patricia Ortiz) of Corrigan, Emmanuel (Veronica Ortiz) of Corrigan and Jonathan Ortiz of Corrigan; and his grandchildren, Mauricio, Estefanie, Angel, Kassandra, Mario, Jr., Valentina, Alex, Jr., Aylen, Alexia, Adamaris and Noah. He is also survived by several brothers and sisters; and a number of other relatives and friends.
