He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bernard Smith Sr. and Louise Marie Smith; and his daughter Catherine Smith Cisneros. He is survived by: his wife Willodean "Dean" Smith; his daughter Jennifer Swenson; his sons-in-law, Martin Cisneros and Zane B. Swenson; his grandchildren, Zane (Gracie), Austin, Genieva (Alex), Elliot (Flynn) and Jennifer (Jason); and his great grandchildren, Gregory, Trenton, Jakon and Carter.
A rosary was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Pius X Catholic Church (5620 Gollihar Rd, Corpus Christi, TX 78412). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Driscoll Children's Hospital in Corpus Christi, TX or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
