It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Valda Ruth Maeckel Jensen (Corpus Christi, Texas), who passed away on September 30, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Louis Maeckel and Virgie Faye Mackel; her brother John Louis; her sister-in-law Pam Maeckel (Edward A. Jensen); and her son-in-law Brian Sullivan.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Amanda, Lindsey, John Michael Jensen, Hannah and Sarah Steen; her great grandchildren, Emma, Ryleigh, Ellie Bailey and Lily Aguilar; her granddaughters, Jennifer and Kathleen Paschall; her cousins, Minnie Ball, Carolyn and Kenneth Duderstadt of Noah's Ark; her children, Mark, Jana and Michael (Pam); her nephew Wesley (Kandi); and also Skye Maeckel.
