He is survived by: his wife Patsy Govatos Whitehurst of Corpus Christi; his sons, Tom Jr. (Elizabeth) of Corpus Christi and Bob (Nora) of Houston; his granddaughters, Marika Roque of Austin and Olivia Whitehurst of Temple; and his great grandchild Xanthi Roque.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church (3513 Cimarron Blvd, Corpus Christi, TX 78414). The inurnment will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Seaside Memorial Park (4357 Ocean Dr, Corpus Christi, TX 78412).
