He was predeceased by: his parents, Etolia Hightower and Joe Barker; his brother Billy Joe Barker; and his granddaughter Magan DeForrest Griggs (Kevin). He is survived by: his wife Jerrie; his children, Kathy Rector, Kim DeForrest (Jack), Craig Barker (Vicki) and Todd Barker; and his grandchildren, Matthew Rector, Dr. Ross DeForrest, James Barker (Nikole) and Ashley Vanderlick (Francis). He is also survived by seven great grandchildren; and one great, great granddaughter.
