He was predeceased by: his brother Gilbert Hernandez; and his mother Corena Camacho. He is survived by: his wife Rosario V. Longoria; his children, Corrie Maradiaga, Mariah Longoria, Adriana Gonzalez, Gilbert Villanueva (Sylvia) and Mike Gonzalez; his father Theodoro Hernandez; and his stepfather Theodero Camacho.
