She was predeceased by: her parents, Pantaleon Granado (Tito) and Marcela Gonzales; and her siblings, Daniel Granado and Margie Moreno. She is survived by: her husband Edward Stanforth of El Paso; and her siblings, Amado Granado of Corpus Christi and Elida Granado of Freeport, Texas..
A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM. Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Seaside Funeral Home Chapel (4357 Ocean Dr, Corpus Christi, TX 78412). A rosary was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Seaside Memorial Park (4357 Ocean Dr, Corpus Christi, TX 78412). After a brief return to Peru, they were reassigned to Washington, D. C. during the COVID-19 pandemic for security reasons, where Thelma continued her work with the DEA.
