He is survived by: his children, Jan Chase of Hockley, Texas, Owen DeKoch of Magnolia, Carol Eckstrom (Neal) of Cuero, Texas and Rob DeKoch of San Francisco, California; his sister-in-law Joyce DeKoch of San Antonio, Texas.; his grandchildren, Mark Maurer, Becky Bauer, Paul Maurer, Matthew Eckstrom, Sarah Eckstrom, Ethan DeKoch and Melissa DeKoch; his great grandchildren, Scott, Cassidy, Gavin, Charlie, Winston, Cooper, Paisley, Dieric, Sahily, Marek and Maelys; and his great great grandchildren, Jaiden and Aleina. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Maxwell P. Dunne Funeral Service (5921 Yorktown Blvd, Corpus Christi, TX 78414). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Maxwell P. Dunne Funeral Service - Yorktown (5921 Yorktown Blvd, Corpus Christi, TX 78414). A reception was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
