He was predeceased by: his parents, Ramon Rodriguez Sandoval Sr. and Salome San Juan Sandoval; and his siblings, Myrna Sandoval Childs, Violeta Sandoval Gonzales, Sonia Sandoval, Franklin Sandoval, Elizardo Sandoval and Edgar Sandoval.
He is survived by: his wife Alicia Sandoval; his children, Honeylet Sandoval, Ashley Sandoval-Garza (Jason Garza) and Raymond Sandoval; his brother Alberto Sandoval; and his grandchildren, Helena Love Febre, Alexander Nathaneil Febre and Michael Tavian Alvarez.
His dedication to his country extended beyond his military service as he continued his work as a civilian contractor for the military for another 20 years, making lasting contributions to those around him.
