He is survived by: his wife Rose Mary Lopez; his sisters, Lupita Sigmund and Marylou Rodriguez; his children, Pete E. Lopez, Lorena Valdez, Linda Lopez and Melissa Lopez; and his grandchildren, Lucas Valdez, Lance Valdez, Edy Lopez, Lyza Trejo, Sam Capelo, Steven Capelo, Alex Capelo and Ben Capelo.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Seaside Funeral Home Chapel (4357 Ocean Dr, Corpus Christi, TX 78412). A rosary was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church (5830 Williams Dr, Corpus Christi, TX 78412). A burial was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Seaside Memorial Park (4357 Ocean Dr, Corpus Christi, TX 78412).
