With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Neil K. Bitting of Corpus Christi, Texas, born in Buda, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his father Clarence Bitting; his wife Sandra Bitting (Jackson); his mother Margaret Mary "Peg" Bitting (Carper); his siblings, Boyd Bitting and Nancy Phillips; his siblings-in-law, Mary Lou Bitting, Mildred Dean, Ruth Buckman, Bob Phillips and Danny Joe Jackson; and his uncle Lt. Colonel Daniel "Uncle Danny" Ropp.

He is survived by: his children, Joellen Klohn (Kevin) of Kerrville, TX, Mark Bitting (Jeanene) of Corpus Christi, TX and John Bitting (Corina) of Corpus Christi, TX; his grandchildren, Katie Miller (Hunter), Emily Shoemake (Josh), Charlie Bitting (Margarita), Ryan Rodriguez and Ryanna Rodriguez; his great grandchildren, Judson Shoemake, Bailey Shoemake, Wesley Shoemake, Darien Bitting and Eleanor Bitting; his brother-in-law Marv Buckman; and his niece Susie Lanier. He is also survived by numerous brothers-in law a sister-in law; and many, many nieces and nephews.
