He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Royce Duane Wilson and Nancy Elizabeth Leverenz; his sister Janet Lee Wilson; his wife Sandra Wilson; his son Matthew Wilson; his daughter-in-law Emily Wilson; his stepmother Billie Wilson of Carlsbad, California.; his sister Barbara Carlson of Vista, California.; his stepbrother Rick Chambers (Sylvia) of Oceanside; his aunts, Teenie and Susie; and his siblings-in-law, Dale Johnston (Deborahe) of Navasota, Texas. and Elaine Andrews (Bruce) of Corpus Christi.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Michael's memory to any Veteran's charity of your choice or to Grace Community Church.

“So many thoughts going through my mind. I won't be able to see that big smile of his on the Pickleball court? We won't be able to give each other a hard time as partners? Who's going to take all the golf balls we find? I may be able to find someone to take the golf balls, but I won't be able to find someone to take Mike's place. He was one of a kind and kind he was.
