She was predeceased by: her son Darius; her parents, Mary Jo Priem and Leonard Gassmann Jr.; and her brothers, Patrick Gassmann and Raymond Gassmann (Lynne).

She is survived by: her siblings, Leonard Gassmann III (Catherine), Robert Gassmann (Janice), Michael Gassmann (Davida), John Gassmann (Alice), Elaine Craig, Kathleen Johnson Tischler (David) and Nancy Cherry; and her pet Wigley. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
