With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Wren Roberts Maxwell of Corpus Christi, Texas, born in Taft, Texas, who passed away on May 15, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Verne Roberts and Thelma Wren Roberts; her husband Walter Lee Maxwell; and her siblings, Wanda Roberts Baxter, Raudolyn Roberts, Thelma Sue Roberts Cody and Roland Roberts.
She is survived by: her sisters, Mary Eunice Roberts Bull and Sybil Roberts Morgan; her children, Walter Lee Maxwell, Jr., Shelley Wren Maxwell Penrod and Robert Alan Maxwell (Dorothy Ellen Maxwell); her grandchildren, Laura Elizabeth Maxwell Braziel (Randall), Karen Leigh Maxwell Farber (Cody), Terri Lynn Maxwell Hale (Hunter), Kathleen Wren Penrod Vaughn (Casey) and Michael Jeffrey Penrod; and her great grandchildren, Titus Robert Farber, Autumn Leigh Farber, Carson Robert Hale, Sawyer Alan Hale, Tatum Hue Hale, Rylee Wren Hale, Lilly Wren Koscho, Irwin Leo Koscho and Cole Maxwell Vaughn. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
