He was predeceased by: his great-grandparent Eugenia Tijerina; his grandparents, Maurice Gene and Rosa Maria Peterson; his aunts, Margie Ann Rodriguez and Paula Chapa; and his godfather Timoteo Trevino.
He is survived by: his parents, Mary Jean "Jeana" Peterson and Lowell Kenneth Peterson (Kimberly); his siblings, Julia Rae "Jewels" Peterson, Lydia Nicole Soliz and Kenneth Lowell Peterson; his grandparents, Augustin and Puresa Rodriguez; and his aunts and uncles, Augustin Rodriguez Jr., Jose Luis Peterson (Raquel), Arthur Joseph Peterson (Debera), Michelle Perez Cavazos and Laura Jean Keck. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and extended family.
