He was loved and cherished by many people including: his brother Joe; his parents, Velia and Jose R. De Leon, Sr.; his wife Eulalia "Lala" Lozano De Leon; his grandfather Joe; his grandchildren, John Edward (Mia), Michael (Camille), Kara Hernandez, Danielle Quesada (Daniel) and Jessica De Leon; his great grandchildren, Michael, Zoe, Margaret Zara, John, Benjamin and Madeline; and his sisters, Zaida Wilson (Leonard), Sylvia De Leon (Lynn Coleman) and Velia Yolanda Garcia (Xico P.). He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews, and an extended family.
