He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicolas Chano and Raquel Chano; his wife Natalia Puente; his daughter Graciela Chano Obregon; his siblings, Santiago Chano, Jesse Chano, Velma Newman, Josephina Becerra and Maria Magdalena Chano; and his children, Jose Angel Chano (Ashley), Velma Martinez (Jerry), Christina Escamilla, Nicolas Chano, Santiago Chano, RoseAnne Chano and Maria Chano.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Maxwell P. Dunne Funeral Service - Morgan (1222 Morgan Ave, Corpus Christi, TX 78404). A rosary was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 1:15 PM to 2:15 PM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (710 S 19th St, Corpus Christi, TX 78405). A committal service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Rose Hill Memorial Park (2731 Comanche St, Corpus Christi, TX 78408).
