He was predeceased by: his father Jose Angel Acuña (Acuñ); and his brother Luis Alonso Acuña. He is survived by: his mother Prudencia Rosales; his wife Betty H. Acuña; his daughter Maria D. Santana; his stepdaughter Bianca Sherrod; his son Joseph Angel Acuña; his stepson Matthew Villarreal; and his siblings, Guadalupe, Blanca, Aida Acuña, Juan Carlos and Gabriel Acuña. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Winsteads' Funeral Home (121 N Duval St, Mathis, TX 78368). A prayer was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.
