She was predeceased by: her parent Nasario Castillo; her brother Ramiro Vasquez Castillo; her mother Paula Vasquez Salinas (Vasquez); her husband Nicolas Carabajal (Nick); her daughter Herlinda Carabajal Silvas; her granddaughter Anna Gabriela Montelongo; her siblings, Jose Castillo (Joaqina), Sammy Salinas, Maria Ybarra (Julian) and Sandy Vasquez; and her daughter Linda Silvas.
She is survived by: her children, Oscar Carabajal (Genoveva), Alicia Carabajal Martinez (Pablo), Diana Carabajal Montelongo (Luis), Sandra Carabajal Rash (Mark) and Maricella Carabajal Steed (Robert); her sisters, Olga Vasquez (Inosencio), Rosa Munoz (Roberto), Gloria Ybarra (Felipe) and Connie Leal (Ernesto); her stepbrother Juan Salinas III; and her grandchildren, Marissa Carabajal Brionez (Jay), Gabriel Carabajal (Eliza), Pricilla Carabajal Moreno (Gerard), Nicole Carabajal Silva (Matthew), Lisa Martinez, Paul Martinez (Leonor), Annisa Montelongo, Aaron Rash (Alexandria), Nick Silvas, David Garcia (Jaslynn) and Diego Carabajal. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
