He was predeceased by: his son Henry Tiger Hernandez. He is survived by: his wife Janie Vargas; his children, Monica Brenner (John) and Demetrio (Carmen); and his grandchildren, Maddie, Christopher, Miles, Ariana, Allie and Jordan.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Guardian Funeral Home Chapel (5922 Crosstown Access Rd, Corpus Christi, TX 78417, USA). A rosary was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Most Precious Blood (3502 Saratoga Blvd, Corpus Christi, TX 78415). The military honors was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Seaside Memorial Park Cemetery (4357 Ocean Dr, Corpus Christi, TX 78412).
