She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Garcia and Faustina Garcia; and her siblings, Dr. Jose Antonio P. Garcia, Dr. Hector P. Garcia, Emilia P. Garcia, Dr. Clotilde P. Garcia (Cleo), Dr. Cuitlahuac P. Garcia and Dr. Xicotencatl P. Garcia.
She is survived by: her son David Hector Mallison; her grandsons, David Cyrus Mallison and William Charles Mallison; and her daughter-in-law Buni Moreno. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She also assisted Dr. Cleo in obtaining a worldwide acquisition of Spanish American ancestral documents resulting in a significant contribution to the Spanish American Genealogical Association (SAGA).
