Benavides of San Diego, Texas; his grandchildren, Christian Ramirez, Jr. and Alyssa Leandra Benavides; his siblings, Roberto Benavides (Irma) of San Diego, Daniel Benavides (Marisia) of SanYgnacio, Texas and Mary Gilliam of San Diego, Texas; and his brothers-in-law, Mario Solis (Arlene) of Portland and Edwin Mark Solis of San Antonio, Texas. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
