He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Yanez and Lucia Yanez. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia "Cyn" Galvan-Yanez; his son Al "Palawishus" Yanez Jr. (Nancy); his grandchildren, Ryan Yanez (Faith) and Michael Yanez; his daughter Danette Fjerstad (Todd); his grandchildren, Myla Rudd and Thomas Rudd; his son Aaron Yanez (Becky); his grandchild Eliana; his great grandchild Tony Yanez; his daughter Miranda Yanez; his grandson Quinton Smith; his child Mikayla Plourde (Derek); his grandchild Ronen; his sister Sylvia Tristan (Isreal); his nieces and nephews, J. D. Alaniz and Danny Alaniz; his mother-in-law Alma Gloria Garcia; his sister-in-law Marisa Thomas (Josh); his nieces and nephews, Carter, Auburn and Jacob; his brother-in-law Jon Garcia; and his pets, Whiskey, Zoey, Snickers, Skittles and Miagyi.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Guardian Funeral Home (5922 Crosstown Access Rd, Corpus Christi, TX 78417). A rosary was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
