We are sad to announce that on August 15, 2019, at the age of 98, Verna Ahrens (Copperas Cove, Texas), born in New London, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Axel Swanson and Ella Mattson Swanson. She is survived by: her children, Shirley Ahrens, Karen Schonefeld (Bernard) and Loren Ahrens (Deborah); her grandchildren, Holly Johnson, Stacey Richardson (Jacob), Brian Schonefeld (Courtney), Scott Schonefeld (Paige) and Christopher Ahrens (Kimberley); and her great grandchildren, Caiden Johnson, Gabriel Richardson, Carrie Schonefeld, Briana Richardson, Heidi Johnson, Joanna Schonefeld, Katherine Ahrens, Silas Schonefeld and Camden Ahrens.
