It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lex Lee Atnip of Copperas Cove, Texas, born in Roswell, New Mexico, who passed away on July 28, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Ursula Atnip; his father Harold Atnip; his brother Terry D. Atnip; and his grandchildren, Cynthia Milbourn and Benjamin Milbourn.
He is survived by: his daughters, Stephanie White (Chad White) and Connie Thomas (Eddie Thomas); his mother Margarette Kincheloe; and his siblings, Katie Atnip, Sandra Atnip and Harold Atnip (Ed). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his memory to the Olin E. Teague Veterans Center in Temple, Texas, or any other veterans help organizations.
