She was predeceased by: her parents, Kankle Tanghala and Kana Tanghala (Hega); her husband Ronald Yaggi; her daughter Barbara Howard; and her grandson Michael Orton.
She is survived by: her stepfather Zeto Miyagi; her children, Martha Tompkins (George) of Van Buren, James Yaggi (Yvonne) of Huntsville and Susan Denen (Paul) of Troy; her son-in-law Wayne Howard of Copperas Cove; and her siblings, Katsayuki Miyagi, Mitsuko Toma and Yukiko Nash. She is also survived by six grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren.
