He is survived by: his children, Haley Maklary (Ashley) and Johnathan Maklary; his sister Sandra Broschinsky (Rob); and his stepchildren, Frederick Schmidt IV (Liz), Matthew Sapp, Cody Sapp, Kaleb Tweed and Rebecca King (Elliot). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
