He was predeceased by: his father John Dzara; his daughter Jacki Vaughn; and his grandchildren, Alicia, Alexa and Kyle Rodgers.

He is survived by: his mother Frances Doiniak Dzara; his wife Louise Dzara; his daughters, Denise Dzara, Diana Dzara and Tina Rodgers (Neil); his son-in-law David Vaughn; his sisters, Becky Dzara and Lisa Hunter; and his grandchildren, Joshua Vaughn, Rachel Dzara and Olivia Dzara.
