It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Clifford Lamphear Jr. in Copperas Cove, Texas, who passed away on January 16, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Ida Lamphear (McFarland); his wife Lucy (Gonzalez); and his sister Jaqueline Jones of Nebraska. He is survived by: his father John Lamphear; his sister Betty Richards of Ohio; and his children, Virginia Lamphear of Salado, TX, John Lamphear III of Copperas Cove, TX and Edward Lamphear (Teri) of Vancouver, WA..
