He was predeceased by: his parent Betty Jean Warthen Rowling; his stepfather Willard Rowling Sr.; his former wife Linda Warthen; and his grandmother Ouida Warthen. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Warthen; his children, Rodney Warthen and Arnetta Warthen; his grandchildren, Lathan Warthen and Janea White; his brothers, Bennie Brinson, Darryl Rowling and Willard Rowling, Jr.; his nieces and nephews, Paricasso Poole, Micheal Poole, Breanna Brinson, Jemelanie Rowling, Dante Rowling, Carmen Rowling, Palmecia Rowling, Destini Rowling, Bryce Rowling and Treyshaun Rowling; his stepchildren, Anya Lovejoy, Morgan Lovejoy and Jacqueline Lovejoy; and his stepgrandchildren, Ciara Ryan, Savanna Walker and Nevea Cruz. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
